Chairman's Message

SINPS aims to be a transformative force in the Indian healthcare sector creating value, within rural and urban India, through the three integrated elements of research, education, and outreach. We are building on our traditional mission of that of patient care, education and research by:

  • creating innovation in nursing and delivery of health care,
  • educating nurses in an appropriate learning environment to be efficient and safe practitioners by adapting to the changing environment and
  • working collaboratively as partners in the delivery of health care with nursing colleagues in hospital and Institute and with other professional colleagues.

SINPS will nurture nurses and enable them to make independent decisions in nursing situations, protect patient rights and facilitate individuals and groups in pursuit of health, function in the hospital, community nursing services and conduct research studies in the areas of nursing practice. They are also expected to assume the role of a teacher, supervisor and manager in Clinical/Community Health Nursing and educational institutions of Nursing.

Suman Hospital & Laproscopic Research Centre, the parent hospital of SINPS, is an institution that offers comprehensive and cost efficient healthcare services under one roof, creating a platform for transparent patient-centric care where every life matters. Nursing encompasses autonomous and collaborative care of individuals of all ages, families, groups and communities, sick or well and in all settings. Nursing includes the promotion of health, prevention of illness, and the care of ill, disabled and dying people.

SINPS believes that nursing education is the art and science of preparing, guiding and producing future nurses who will function effectively and efficiently in the society and serve its health care needs at the highest level of quality. Further, SINPS believes that GNM and ANM graduating nurses contribute to overall health services in vital and significant ways as an integral member of the health care delivery system.

SINPS is working with a humanitarian ambition of improving the quality of healthcare education and the services within the community and uplift the standards of healthcare services at par with the global standards under the competent guidance of Dr. A. K. Singh and with the affiliation of Suman Hospital & Laproscopic Research Centre.

The philosophy of Sultanpur Institute of Nursing & Paramedical Sciences (SINPS) is incorporated at par of Indian Nursing Council & UP State Medical Faculty which is a broad based education within an academic frame work and well integrated into the philosophy of Suman Hospital & Laproscopic Research Centre. This will be built upon the skills and competency acquired by the trained nurses of SINPS.

At the end of the academic program, the student is expected to:

  • Have the aptitude, knowledge and skill necessary for assessing nursing needs of the individuals throughout the life-cycle, families and communities.
  • Apply relevant knowledge from biological and behavioural sciences in planning and carrying out safe nursing care activities.
  • Co-operate with other members of the health team in the hospital or in the community in prevention of disease, promotion of health, restoration of health and rehabilitation.
  • Impart health knowledge to individuals and groups through health education.
  • Demonstrate skill in the use of problem solving methods in nursing practice.
  • Demonstrate ability to supervise and guide auxiliary personnel who are part of the nursing team.
  • Demonstrate understanding of and commitment to professional behaviour.
  • Carry out the above in the true Christian spirit of service to fellowmen and be committed to the welfare of our country.
